Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report:—At our Waverlcy sale on Friday we yarded 575 sheep and 275 cattle, and we have to report a dull sale, the bulk of the yarding being passed at auction. We, however, succeeded in placing the bull; of the yarding before the close of the day. Messrs. Balpety and Company, Limited (Palmerston North branch) report:—At our weekly sale at Feilding on SJriday wo had a. good yarding of sheep and cattle. Bidding for sheep was lifeless, and prices were easier, but we managed to dispose of all lots oG'ered with the exception of one small pen at prices as below:-Cull lambs, 2s.
