Admiral Sir Cyprian Bridge, in an interview, said there was no reason why Australia's Navy should not bo made to fit into the scheme of Imperial defence. The. Dreadnought cruisers, and protected 'cruisers would ho a considerable addition to Britain's strength. The other classes were of small importance. It was an ambitious scheme, and would give the Australian taxpayer an opportunity of realising the financial burden.
