THE Y.M.C.A. CAMP.

AT WAIKANAE. On Thursday last ninety-one members of the Y.M.C.A. took train for Waikanae, where the association's annual Easter camp was held. Tho boys camped on the grounds of Mr. Field, M.P., which had been lent for tho occasion. Mr. Field snowed every hospitality and kindsess, nnd he and his manager did everything possible to make tho campers comfortable. On Good Friday the boys played athletic games, and, in the evening, a concert was held. Heavy rain fell on Saturday morning, but in the afternoon "soccer" football was played. A concert was given -in the evening. A song service was held on Sunday morning, and church service in the evening, at which Mr. Andrew, of Mannkau, the lads. On Monday afternoon a "soccer" match took place between representatives of tho campers and South Wellington, tho game resulting in a win for the former by two goals to one. On Tuesday the boys firoke camp and returned to Wellington. Mr. Field inspected the tents on Monday, and his expression was: "This is a model of neatness." After inspection ho addressed the boys, and finished by extending a hearty welcome to them next year. During the camp no illness of any description took' plnc.e. To-morrow evening a camp rally will be held at tho Y.M.C.A. building.
