SSJsec—in winning the Doncaster Handicap, one mile, at tho first day of the Australian Jockey Club's meeting on Saturday at Randwiok, is a record, beating the previous best of Storey and Hyman by a quarter of a second. Thero has been steady rain since midday, and it continues, making an altered outlook for to-morrow's racing. Already sufficient rain has fallen to deaden the tracks.
