LABOUR PARTY CRITICISED. By Telegraph—Prqss Association—Oopyrieut (Rec. April 16, u.j p.m.) London, April 15. The speakers at the Social Democratic Conference at Coventry accused tho Labour party of abandoning independence, and identifying itself with the Liberals. The conference rejected a proposal for national • affiliation, but agreed to allow local branches the option of affiliating with labour branches. The conference denounced the Covet nraer.t's invalidity, unemployment insurance proposals, on tho ground that they are not sufficiently democratic.
