Leaving the West Coast port again at 8 p.m., the vessel makes a call at Nelson this morning, and. sailing at 6 a.m.. cornea direct t-j Wellington. She should arrive hore about 4 p.m.. and is to leave on a speciaj trip to l'icton and Nelson at 6 o'clock to-night. TUB N.Z.S. CO. STEAMERS. About 4 p.m. yostqrday, the Kaikoura berthed at the Glasgow Wharf to discharge the balanco oi her London cargo. From here she proceeds to Waugamii. Timaru, Lyttelton, and back again to Wellington, where loading operations are to bo completed. She sails for London on April Now discharging at Duncdin, the Rakaia will eo to Timaru to complete. She afterwards loads at. Oamnru, Blutf, Port Chalmers, Timaru, probably Waitara, and Wellington. She leaves for London about May 10.
The Whakatane is to leave Wcllimrton towards the end of next week for Lyttelton, Napier, Qisborne. Tokomaru Hay amd Auckland. She will be dispatched from tho northern port for Home on May 4. ARRIVAL OF THE MARAMA. After a very fine weather passage from Sydney, iho Union Company's steamer Marama arrived at Wellington yesterday morning. The vessel left the New South Wales port at S p.m. on Saturday last and dropped anchor in the stream at 7 a.m., berthing at the Oueen's Wharf No 6 at. 8.30 a.m. Imports by tho vessel were n.i follow — 500 pieces timber, 196 bars load, 94 bundles pipe, 300 eases soap. 150 bars steel. 138 inKots tin. 400 bass rice, 50 cases beer 250 cases fruit, SCO packages tc-a, and a Quantity of general.
