, 'BEITAIN'S HUGE INFANT DEATH ROLL. By Telegraph—Ptess Association—Copyrieht (Ecc. April 12, 10.25 p.m.) London, April 12. A Bill introduced by Dr. Addiso'n, Liberal member for Hoxton, providing for instruction in hygiene in the elementary schools, has been read a first time in the House of Commons. The Bill also contains provision for the teaching of girls in the care and feeding of infants. The mover stated that of the 150,000 children' who died annually under five years of age, the deaths of 50,000 were due to paternal ignorance.
