A very enjoyable match was played on No. 1 pitch on the Basin Reserve on Saturday afternoon between The Domin'ion's representatives and a team, picked from the Wellington East third-class eleven and the Wellington. Haifcour Board's team. Dominion, which batted first, made 89 runs, l'limmer playing a very tine innings for 40. Their opponents made 109 for the loss of six wickets, Prain (who made a long stand) and anotlier (a member of the Harbour Board team) retiring. Maysmor and Earlo bowled best for tho Dominion tcam -and Forrester, Clark, and one of the Harbour Board men, for the winners.

On Saturday next the Dominion' team is to niefit an eleven from the "New Zealand Herald" (Auckland), who are journeying south for the Easter holidays.
