PICNIC AT UPPER HUTT.
The employees of Messrs. T. A. Wells, with their wives and families, held a successful picnic at Upper Hutt on Saturday. Following are the results of races, etc.:— 100 Yards Championship.—A. Kennedy, 1; D. Monkhousc, 2. 220 Yards Apprentices' Race.—W. Rouse, 1; P. Donaldson, 2. HO Yards Apprentices' Race.—A. Kennedy, 1; V. Donaldson, 2. 220 Yards Journeymen's Race.—A. Warren, 1; J. Hedges, 2. 73 Yards Single ladies' Race.—Miss R. Donaldson, 1; Miss I. Rash, 2. 50 Yards Married Ladies' Race. —Mrs. Fcothdad, 1; Mrs. Lobern, 2.
