Dalgety and .Company, Limited (Palmerston Xorth branch) report as follows:—At .our Hunterville sale, on Tuesday, a. fair yarding of sheep and cattle came to hand, which F.old as below:— Quotations: .Sheep—Cull-lambs, 3s. to 3s. 6d.;, small two-tooth ewes, 9s. . 6d.; aged Eomney rams, one guinea.' Cattle-Good eight months heifers, to £2 145.; 15-month steers, to £3 65.; cows ant', calves, £3 155.; 20-month heifers, £3' 9s. 6d.. £3-16s- to £4; ompty forward cows, £4 to £4 55.; one sheop dog, £9 ss. Messrs. Dalgety and Company report:— At our Taihape sale on April 5 we had a, fair.yarding of sheep and cattle, and the former met with a good sale, all lines being cleared. Quotations:—Aged • owes, to 3s. 3d.; .wether-lamb 3- to'6s. 6d.; mixedage cwos.to ss. 8c , ..; f.f.m. ewes, to Bc. Messrs'. Dalgety and Company, Limited, report on their Upper Hutt sales, held yesterday, as' follows:—We submitted a, good yarding of both sheep and cattle, and both classes met with a good demand, the whole yarding of sheep (with the exception of one pen of old ewes) changing hands. . The first batch of ewes in lamb came forward for this sale, and brought satisfactory prices,' according to nuality. Cattle also sold welh first-class dairy sorts bringing the good prices which have been ruling at late sales. Quotations:— Two-topth to f.f.m. ewes in lamb, 7s. to 10s ; f.'in. ewes in lamb, 4s. to 7s. 6d.; fat ewes, 125.: two and four-tooth wethers.
