Y.M.C.A.

' BOYS' DEPARTMENT. Arrangements have now been completed for the annual Easter camp of the Y.M.C.A. Boys' Department, as may be seen by the excitement of the lads who are flocking to the rooms several nights a u'eck. It is a golden opportunity lor any boy between VI and la to have a jolly Dastcr at Waikanae, tho cost, including rail fare, being ss. Gel. , for juniors, 7s. Gd. for intermediates, and Is. extra for nonmembers of the department. Mr. Field, M.P., has greatly helped in the way of granting the department, the use of his grounds, also his woolshed, which is largo and spacious, thus doing away with all fear of the boys being drenched in cafe of rain. This evening a big crowd is expected at; the rooms to receive final instructions. Now that the proclamations are really but, every boy is talking about cadets, and rightly so, but the question is what company, will he join ? The nature of tho lad is to be with his chums, and for that purpose it has been decided to form a corps of senior cadets in conjunction with the Boys' Department of tho Y.M.C.A. Tho boys' work director, Mr. E. M. Ryan, had an interview with Lieut. Robinson, one of the staff officers of the senior cadets, who informed him that boys may be registered at the Y.M.C.A. If the boys will come alonir and register, not only will they get well trained, but they will have the use of the boys' department, and where better could a lad spend his long winter evoninirs? Names arc now being taken at tho Y.M.C.A.
