HUGE RUBBER PROFITS.
DIVIDEND OF 375 PER CENT. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyrleht London, April 5. The Selangor Rubber Company hns declared a dividend for the year of 375 per cent. Tho directors of the Solangor Rubber Company, Limited, in April last year declared a fourth and final dividend to their shareholders of 3s. 3d. per share, which made the return for the year 28r\ per cent. The capital amounts to only .£30,000, and tho 2s. shares were then quoted at 87s. Discussing the rubber boom recently, "The Times" stated that the land already nlanted in the Middle East (Malaya, Sumatra, Borneo. Java, Ceylon, Southern India, etc.) had been authoritatively estimated to produce in 11)18 at. any rate more rubber than the rest of the world produces at the present time. The price of rubber at tho end of that period it anticipates will bo something in tho nature of Is. Gd. per lb.
