Last month the Home Office appointed i commission to investigate tho .statements made by Constable Graves regarding the treatment by the police of M°or'ri?<ui, alter his arrest on a charge of murdering a Jew named Heron on Clapham Common on New Year's Eve. Tho inquiry has now ended. The commissioner has yet to decide whether it will bo necessary to sec Morrison (under sentence of death) before his decision is announced.
