On or about April 12 tho Tyser Line's steamer Ncrchana is expected to roach Wellingtou from Liverpool, via way ports. Tho schooner Falcon arrived at Evans Bay yesterday with a, load ot timber totalling 52,000 ft. To-day the collier ICotuku is expected to leave port for Napier, proceeding thence to Westport. On Thursday morning it is proposed to place the Canterbury Steamship Company's steamer Pctonc on tho Wellington Patent Slip for cleaning and painting. Mr. C. \V. l'iric, second engineer of the Pohcrua, lias left tho vessel, and' his placo has been taken by Mr. E. \\ . Macklcy. 11.M.5.
