The right of the Chartrcux Monks to their ancient English trade marks has now been definitely restored by a decision of the House of Lords. Changes in the labelling of tho well-known Chartreuse liqueur which follow on this restoration aro described in detail in an advertisement appearing in another column. The Monks while deprived of their English trade marks shipped their liqueur under a modified label bearing tho words "Liqueur fnbriquoc a Tarragone par les Peres Chartrcux." Tlicy now propose, nfter exhausting their present stock, to have future shipments made under their old mark and insignia, and in their old pattern of bottles, but with the label above referred to in conjunction with the old Chartrcux label.
