DIVORCE CASES.
At the Masterton Supreme Court yesterday the following divorce cases were dealt with Jesse Donaldson, v. Maria DonaldsonApplication for a dissolution of marriage on tho ground of misconduct and insobriety. iMr. Hollings appeared for the petitioner.. Arthur Jones was cited as corespondent. His Honour granted a decree nisi. Herbert Martin Wilton, telegraph linesman, petitioned for a dissolution of marriage from his wife, Rosina 10. Wilton, the ground of action being alleged misconduct with Charles Sowman, overseer, Masterton, who was joined as correspondent. M'-'. T. M. Wilford appeared for tho petitioner, and Mr. C. A. I'ownall for the respondent. Petitioner, besides applying for a dissolution of marriage, claimed <2500 damages from tho co-respondent, and also tho custody of two children. His Honour forbade the publication of evidence. Tho jury Tcturned a verdict for. petitioner, and awarded -Eloo damages against the co-respondent. His Honour granted a dccroe nisi, to be mado absolute in three months, and allowed costs against co-respondent on the lowest scale. Tho question of custody of tho children was deferred. .
