At Cabnrita Ilngney's success was assured. Simpson being his nearest attendant, with Carter, Paddon, and Kent eight lengths off. "Dick" Arnst retired here, honeiessly out of it, despite tho exhortation of many to finish the course. Finishing well, ITagney won by four lengths from Simpson, while Paddon ran into third place, Lawson fourth, Kent fifth, with Barclay, Langhara, and Messenger a long way back.
