DEPARTURE OF DR. HENRY.
MISSIONER'S PARTING WORDS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) 1 nvercargill. March 27. The mission conducted here during the past fortnight by Dr. Henry and Mr. Farquhar closed on Sunday night, and today a farewell luncheon was tendered the missioner before they left by tho Melbourne steamer. Mr. M'Donald, treasurer of the mission, made a statement relative to finances, and said they had been able to meet all demands, and were more than satisfied with the results. Dr. Henry said he thought the people of-Invercargill had been harder to reach than those of any other town. Thero were at least three towns outside of tho largo centres in which ho would advise Dr. Chapman to conduct missions when he came, viz.. Invercargill, Palmerston North, and Wanpanui. He advised the workers to keep together. A representative' deputation accompanied Dr. Henry and Mr. Farquhar to the Bluff, where , the missioners embarked on the Mohoia, en route for Melbourne.
