A LAST CHANCE. Enrolment figures rose with, a bound yesterday, but for the activity of which this a fiords evidence the indefatigable Labour party was in great part responsible. At the same time'there was mauilested yesterday a partial recovery lrom the apathy with which citizens have thus far regarded tlieit: civic responsibilities. During tho day the Town Hall was visited by many electors apart from those who came to enrol. Numerous inquiries were made by people desirous of making sure that their names had been entered. At times theso inquirers were standing in parties, awaiting their turn, outsido tho office of the enrolment clerk. The supersedel roll _ Contains . 31,878 names. On the new main roll there are 16,714, and tho names awaiting publication in the sunnlementary roll bring the total to 28,204. " "Citizens, qualified as electors, who have thus far failed to apply for enrolment, have ono day left in which to repair their neglect; Tho lost of the applications must be handed ill this afternoon.
