TO-DAY'S DINNER.

. (Specially written for The Dominion.) TUESDAY. Baked shoulder of mutton. Potatoes. Baked tomatoes. Stewed figs and rice. BAKED TOMATOES. Take lib. of tomatoes, pour boiling water over them, skin, and cut into slices. Make some breadcrumbs, and butter a picdish. Sprinkle the bottom of the piedish with breadcrumbs, and then put a layer of tomatoes. Sprinkle with pepper and salt, and then with breadcrumbs, and so on until the dish is full. Put a few small pieces of butter on top of the last layer of breadcrumbs, and bake in a moderate oven for about 1 hour. FOR TO-MORROW. Cabbage. Apples. Oranges. Cold meat. Batter. Two pounds chops. Cold meat.
