The karori Rifle Club fired three teams matches at Trontham on Saturday, two against^the 3 PetoS'e (Riflo Club, and one. against the College Rifles. The weather was fine, and the shooting excellent, no fewer than .eight "possibles" being made by members of the Karori teams, and two by Petone riflemen. The remarkable average by Karori of 99 for the first ten men, and 96.3 for the first 20 men is considered a Dominion record. President .Marshall once more proved his worth as an excellent teams man, being top with 101, including "possibles" at 500 and 600 yards, his average for the four teams matches fired by the club this season being 08. For Karori, Bnlford also made IJI, including two "possibles," and Burns and Maisey each 100. M'LaVighlin, for Petone, shot, well, his total being 100. KARORI NO. 1 AND PETONE NO. 1. 1 This match resulted in a win for Karori bv 33 points.
