Sixteen warders at Ekatrinburg havo teen sentenced to terms of imprisonment varying from a month to two yearsand a half for cruelty. • Evidence was given by one hundred witnesses, sixty of whom were victims, of thrashings with knouts made of ox tendons wrapped with strips of raw hide, the ends being bound with iron wire. Those flogg-sd included political prisoners.
