YACHT CLUB EXCURSION.

. Uout 300 pcoplo availed themselves of the opportunity to attend tho first combined exclusion and concert held at Day's Bay under the auspices of the Tort Nicholson Yacht Club.last evening. Tho outing proved a success, both in regard to pleasure, and finance. Tho ferry steamer Duchess left the wharf at 7.30 p.m.. and Day's Bay at 10 p.m. Ou arrival at tho pavilion, Day's Bay, a programme of musical and elocutionary items was provided, the following contributing:—Mrs Dunn, Mrtv Mitchel, Messrs. B. Hoare,, Oafcey, and A. Douglas. Mr. Hilliker played two' 'cello solos, and Mr. S. M'Williams recited. Mr. D. J. .Kenny was the accompanist for the evening. Credit is due to the committee and Messrs. F. 0. Tattle and A, M. Holmes, joint lion, sees., for the manner in lvliicli the arrangements were carried out.
