WELLINGTON ASSOCIATION. The annual meeting of tho'. Wellington College. Old Boys' Association was held last evening,- Mr. A. If. Meek presiding. Tho report.stated.'that tho membership ; was now. Gil" ordinary members, aiid 194 : life members. Tho football Club 'was in ', a- satisfactory, staled ,- The compilation of i records. of the club were:—First fifteen, i played 12 matches, won 7, lost 5;, second ■ fifteen, played 10, Won 3, lost 5, drew 2; j third fifteen, played 10, won 7, lost 2, j drew 1. Towards tho end of the year ' the committee decided, to form a tennis ] club in connection with the association, and a , sub-committee did useful preliminary work.. It is hoped that the now committee will complete the formation of the club.- During the year donations of £b 5s and .£2' wore mado to the col-lege-ground fund and the collcgo. prize fund respectively. ... Tho balance-sheet showed a.credit of , .£SB 3s. «.-, -of which £oQ is on fixed deposit. The i statement of receipts and ' expenditure for the year showed an ox- * cess of receipts over expenditure, of 9s. He.believed tho Ten- :, nis Club would.soon be an accomplished } fact, and'it would,;no doubt bo found that £ oourts would.be obtainable at tho college. He also referred to tho honours gained V by the college in University and other examinations, as well as in all branches J of sport. Mr. Meek also referred to • the fact that p. C. Collins had won his ■ cricket "blue" at Cambridge J , The adoption of the report and balancesheet was agreed to. The election of officer? resulted as under :—President, Mr. Walter L.
