To-day the Acting-Prime Minister (tho Hon. J. Carroll), the Hon. G. Fowlds, the Hon. D. Buddo, and the Hon. J. A. Millar will be in Wellington. The Hon. R. M'Kenzie will bo at Whnkatane, tho Hon. T. Mackenzie in Dunedin, and tho Hon. A. T. Ngata on the East Coast. The Hon. K. M'Kenzio ivas at Eotorua yesterday. To-day ho leaves there for Whnkatnr.e, and Mill proceed thonce down tho Hast Coast. The Hon. A. T. Ngata is at present at the East Coast. The Acting-Prime Minister (the Hon. J. Carroll) will nay a visit to the Nativo settlement of Pnrihaka ou March 18, returning to AVellington on March 21. On his'return ho will go into tho matter of setting up a commission dealing with the Kaiapoi .Native .Reserve. The Chief Justice (Sir Robert Stout) is in town, Mr. Justice Dennteton is at Greymouth, Mr. Justice Edwards at WaHganui, Mr. Justice Cooper at Auckland, anif Mr. Justice Chapman at Gisborno. Mr. E, ,T. Carey has been appointed by the Otago Hotel and Restaurant Trade Employees' Union to represent it as an assessor in its forthcoming case before tho Conciliation Council. Deceased was the fourth son of tho late Colonel Stace, R.E., and was born in March, 18i4. He came out to Nelson in 18C5 with his elder brother, Lieut. Geo. Stace (85th Regiment) and Mr. IT. J. Stace, of Robinhood Bay. After n varied career in Australia and New Zealand, Mr. Stace started the first fiaxmill in Kaikoura, and later became manager of the Delta "Run. Sir. Frascr, accountant of the Public Servico Superannuation Fund, and Mr. W. 51. Wright, Government statistician, have changed offices.
