MIRACULOUS ESCAPES.
THE PLEASANT PRAIRIE EXPLOSION. By Telegraph-Press Association-Copyright. (Rec. March 12, 5.5 p.m.) New York, March 11. Although the village is in complete ruins, only one person was killed by the powder explosion at Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. It' is considered miraculous that scores of persons were not killed. Tho light construction of tho houses is tho probable explanation why the inhabitants escaped fatal injuries.
