WHAT APPLICANTS MUST DO. Intending applicants for dwellings under the Workers' Dwellings Act of last session nill lind in last nights Uazctlo lengthy directions as to tno procedure they will require to go through and tho forms to bo tilled in. This main provisions aro as follow:— Forms for renewable leases aro provided, and weekly or monthly tenancies may bo obtained, With every application four weeks' rent requires to bo lodged with the superintendent, and to declare that he is not in receipt of more than .£175 a year, and is landless. Applications to purchase aro to be given preference over applications to lease or for tenancy, and preference may lurther be given to those most in nc«l of the dwellings. . Tho rate of interest to bo paid in tho case of purchase on the amount, remaining unpaid is 5 per cent. Tho payment may extend over 231 years. If the tender for tho erection of, a worker's dwelling exceeds the estimated cost of that dwelling, the applicant, witlnu fourteen (lavs niter being notified, may elect to withdraw hifi application, and shall (hereupon be entitled to a refund of his deposit in respect of tho purchasetnonev or rent.- Upon such election tho .woeiiicnt shall be deemed to bo cancelled. „ L ]f for anv other reason an applicant withdraws liis application, ho shall not , he entitled t" a refund of Ins deposit; but the board may refund the balance of such deposit alter deducting not less thna .CI for expenses,
