MISSIONS TO SEAMEN.

The Missions to Seamen . Institute was well filled last evening, when Mr. Phil. Nathan provided a very successful concert. Mr. James Moore, the Missioner, occupied llie chair. The following contributed items:—Song, Mr. Wyatt; recitation, Miss Samson; song. Mr. G.' Bell; violin solo. Mi«s Hon.ivno; song, Mr. Holland (H. 11.5. Wniwera). Misses R. Aldons and Konayne, and Mr. Holland played the accompaniments. Several popular choruses were sung by tho audience, and an amusing conundrum competition was won bv sailors from shins in port. During a "short interval, tho Missioner delivered an address on the temperance question. Six men subsequently tool; (lie pledge of total abstinence. The:host and performers were accorded a hearty vote of thanks at the conclusion, and light refreshments were afterwards dispensed.
