Ho intends to prosecute his accusers, who alleged that he was involved in tho alleged official scandals in connection with Alaskan lands. Mr. W. L. Fisher, of Chicago, succeeds Mr. Ballinger in tho Cabinet. Mr. Fisher is a well-known Chicago lawyer, and is 59 years of age. He has taken a great interest in the movement for the conservation of natural resources, and is president of the Conservation League of America.
