RETURN OF THE WINDWARD. The yacht Windward, which started in last Saturday's ocenn race to Port Underwood, returned to the boat harbour at 7.30 last evening—"all well." Bowden in a very hospitable manner. At 11 a.m. they got under way again, and ran town Tory Channel to To Weka (Mr. Baxter's), where they put in the night and next morning. At 1.30 p.m. on Monday they started away for Wellington, but, onco clear of Ihe'land, the wind dronned, and they were carried by the tide r.s fax south as Cane Campbell and back again with its return. The Windward made (his side at 1.30 p.m., and, picking up a light, north-westorly breeze, ran up to the Heads and into port without further incident.

HOME-COMERS FROM THE SOUNDS. Yesterday afternoon the. yacht Muritai, which had born on a fortnight's cruise iu the Sounds, returned to tlw Bout Har. hour. The yacht was due back on Sunday last, but owing to bad weather was compelled to delay her deiinrturo. The Muritai lett the Sounds at noon on Monday, but owing to lack of wind took 27 hours to come across the Strait. Her crew used sweeps for a goo;! part of tho way across.

The launches Veronica, and Scotia rotimicil on Monday evening after a fortnight s cruise in the Sounds.
