MARCONI PATENTS.
PROSPECT OF LITIGATION. The Marconi Wireless Telegraph Company of London has issued a writ against (he Union Steam .Ship Company, of Xew Zealand, in connection with the system of wireless telegraphy used on certain of (lie company's steamers. The system in question, which was iiislaliod on tho Alaitai and Aorangi at San Francisco by the United Wireless Company of (ho United Staff.*, is alleged (o infriiigo certain patent rights of (ho Marconi Company. Messrs. Bell, Gully, Bell, and Myers are acting for the latter dompany.
It is also understood that the Marconi Company will later proceed either against the New .Zealand Government or the Australasian Wireless Company, or both, in connection with the setting up of wireless stations in New Zealand, on the ground of alleged infringement of patent rights.
