When stumps were drawn for the dav Old Boys had lest three wickets for 27, Eglintcn (not out) 12, Reed (not out) 12. A cricket match was played at Porirua on Saturday between teams representing tho Mental Hospital attendants and Biug. Harris and Cp. The latter team obtained the victory by five runs. Bing, Harris and Co., batting first, compiled 53 runs (Stephenson 21, Murphy 15). C. Morgan captured seven wickets for 13 runs, and Bolton three for 3G. Porirua made 4S (Bolton 0 not out). Carruthers achieved the hat trick, and took six wickets for 21; Stephenson took four for 23. The visitors were hospitably entertained by the Mental Hospital team.
