CHANGES AND PROMOTIONS.

LAND TRANSFER OFFICE. Certain changes have been carried out. in the stalT of tho Laud Transfer and Deeds Registry Office. Mr. E. Bamfonl, Registrar-General of Land and Deeds and Examiner of Titles tor Wellington, retires with three months' cave ol absence from April 1, and will be succeeded by Mr. G. J. Bridges, District Land Registrar at Christchurch, whose place will l;o taken bv Mr W Winks, District Land Registrar at Dunedin. Mr. Winks will ho succeeded by Mr. C. N. Nali':,-,', District Land Registrar for Southland; Mr. Nalder will l;o succeeded by M.r. L. Pauling, District Land Registrar nt Napier; Mr. Pauline by Mr. V. Aspinall, Assistant Land Napier, Mr. Aspjnall by Mr. J. A. Eraser, clerk in the Napier office. Mr. L. H. Holloway, Assistant Land Registrar and Deputy-Registrar of Deeds nt Auckland, has retired from the Ssrvico under the age-limit, and the following promotions have ken made;— Mr. G. 8. Withers, Assistant Land Registrar; Mr. R. 11. Bourke, clerk, to bo second Assistant Land Registrar; Mr. 12. Kecble, clerk, lo be Assistant-Deputy. Registrar of Deeds. Mr. M. J. Kilgonr, Assistant Land Registrar and Deputy-Registrar of Deeds at Wellington, lias retired on pension on account of ill-health. Mr. J. Burke, of tho Wellington office, succeeds him, Mr. Burke, in turn, is succeeded by Mr. A. P. Gorman, chief clerk iu tlio Land Transfer Office, at Dunedin.
