MISSIONS TO SEAMEN.

The weeld.v ambulance meeting was held at the Missions to Seamen Institute last evening, before a largo and interested audience. Mr. James Moore, the Missioner, gavo several demonstrations showing how to treat fractures and dislocations, and the method of bandaging wounds, sprains, etc. He also gave useful hints in connection with various health matters. A competition on how to restore tho apparently drowned was held, and won by sailors from ships in port. An enjoyablo programme was provided by Miss Warren, the following contributing items:—Misses Upham, Warren, Itoid, Williams, and Mr. Warren. Tho performers wero accorded a hearty vote of thanks.
