In the Chancery Division of the High Court of Justice, Mr. Justieo Warringtoil ordered George Harding, a dealer ill curios, to return to Lord Chesterfield a suit of armour which had been withdrawn from auction on ■ Harding's sou slating that an intending buyer objected to buy at miction. Two thousand pounds, which had been paid on behalf of the alleged client, was ordered to be repaid, with interort. 4 It was stated that after tho transaction Lord Chesterfield learned that Mr Harding was asking £15,000 for tho armour. . ■ , st ? terl t,lDt sum of £10,000 had been int.itioued in order to get rid of n troublesome .customer.
