(By TtlcsraDli.—Press AfEoolatlou.l ■ Palmerston North, February 27. A man named M'Mahon, aged 35, workin" nt Fitzherbcrt, left Palmerston North at"11.15 on Saturday night-for his homo. Ilis horso was found on Sunday with one, stirrup gone, and a scarred knee, near Lancaster's Ford, which was high on Saturday owing to the rain. The police arc instituting a search. It is feared that .M'Mahon has been drowned.
