Madrid, February 23. Sovoral street conflicts have occurred as tlio result of women appearing in tho new harem skirts—a divided dress lately crrntcii by a Parisian milliner, and resembling tho trousers worn by the Turkish women. Jinny arrests have been made.
A mob of 3000 mistakenly attacked two nristocralio ladies who wero properly dressed.
OX BROOKLYN BRIDGE. (Hoc. February 20, 5.5 p.m.) New York, February 25. A lady wearing a harem skirt almost caused a riot on Brooklyn Bridge. Crowds followed her, until she took refuge in an underground station.
