THE SHEFFIELD CHOIR.
♦- ITS PERSONNEL ANNOUNCED. After an absence of several weeks, which he spent in tho North Island in tho interests of Dr. Charles'Harriss's Empire Musical Festivals, Mr. Hugo Gorlitz returned to Wellington on Saturday, in order to arrange for tho comfort of the visitors, who will constitute tho Sheffield Choir, arriving in New Zealand in June next. Mr. Goilitz, who is solo representative for Dr. ltarriss, reports great, progress throughout the North Island. Tho following are names of 113 Indies and 79 gentlemen, who, together with seven more ladies nnd ono gentleman (names to be announced later) constitute tho Sheffield Choir lauding in New Zealand on June 25. in intuition to these, there will be the soloists and stall, 11! in number, nnd un orchestra of 37, making in all 253 persons. Smith, . tho, secretary of the choir, is'tho- nronrietor of tho Jericho (Sheffield) Steel SVorks, employing several thousand hands.
