CROWDED CARS AT LYALL BAY.

Sir,—As a resident of Lyall Bay I wish to protest againtt the overloading - of-tha- ■ cars from Lyall Bay to town between the hours of 8 and 9 a.m. It is seldom that one can find a vacant seat, and although the residents themselves are usually standing fotfr abreast between the seats, more are crammed in at every stopping, place, with the result that there is great discomfort , for all concerned. The liverage for each compartment this moriiirig was 10. The 8.24 car from the bay should be a special, and by doine this tho cor- : poration will not be the loser, and will sh6w a\ courtesy to the residents that will be appreciated.—l ara.'ctc., ORIENTAL. Lyall Bay,- February 14, 1911. ■
