' Miss Whitaker conducted a "mothers' meeting" here on Tuesday afternoon, and on Wednesday addressed the associates, branch helpers, members, and candidates " ' of tho Girls"Pnendly Society. There was a good attendance, and' ; tho lecture was most helpful, proving interesting and instructive. Mr. T. Bevan, sen., has returned from a health-recruiting trip to Auckland, and appears much benefited by the change. s Mr. Brown, who has been in'the Sanatorium here for some time, left to-day, with tho intention of returning to Scotland. , t . .
