CABINET DECISIONS.
SUNDRY TENDERS. Cabinet last evening decided to invito tenders for a ferrb-concrcte bulk store in Wellington for tho Post and Telegraph Department. f It was also decided to invito tenders for a new courthouse at Greymouth. A tender was accoptedfor tho supply of fcrro-concreto . poles for tho Post anil Telegraph Department. This will bo tho first substitution in tho Dominion of this class of pole for those now in use. They havo tho advontago of.greater "life".than thoso at present in use, and thoy aro also moro economical in other rospoets. Tests of their reliability havo already been held in Wellington. Ferro-concreto telegraph posts aro in use in certain parts of England, and also in some European countries. ■
