TEE WELLINGTON CLUB. At Tc Aro Baths Inst evening the ■Wellington Amateur Swimming Club held a couple of races — 'liti yards breast stroke handicap and tho final Of the 75 yards junior handicap. In tho former event, there were two Auckland competitors, who aro hero for the breast stroke championship. They both proved to be in a class far above our local breast-stroke swimmers. Grant, of Eawera, who was to swim at the Stratford carnival, has been selected by the Wanganui Centre of tho N.Z. Amateur Swimming Association as their representative at the New Zealand championships to bo held in Wellington shortly.
