MR. MASSEY'S" NORTH AUCKLAND ' TOUR. Mr. TV. F. Massey, M.P., Leader of £ha> Opposition, left. Auckland on Saturday to visit a number--of- the-northern centres.. His .'trip jvill be of .a semi-political nature, tand is being undertaken in.accordance with a promise be made some time ago-to go north. to ..Whangarei during the present recess. It is intended by. the people, ia many of the northern towns, to:.take the opportunity, of meeting the Leader, of the Opposition, and more fully acquainting themselves with the ideas and policy of the party of -which-he the (head. ..He is to be, accompanied by Mr. F. Mander, ALP. for Marsden. To-day he will be at ■Whangarei, where, in lesponso to an in» vitation, he will deliver a political address to-night. Theparty will then go on. to Mangonui and Hokiaiiga, visiting vari< ous centres in these districts, and. finish" ing up at Dargaville on February 8. Mr. Massey informed a reporter that he would take opportunities, to roply more fully to tKe'recent speeches made by the Prima Minister.' He was unable to. say when he would deliver his speeches, but he hopedi to be able to do so before Sir Josepfci Ward left for England -on-March 3. . 1
