Lysnar's address hero yesterday on tho conditions under which the Dominion's frozen meat is handled at- London, the president (Mr. 0. E. Clothier) of the North Canterbury - Provincial Executive of ■ the farmers "Union, to-day forwarded the following cable messages, replies to which are expected' to-morrow':—"Town Clerk, Guildhall, Loudon. At a largo and influential public meeting of producers held in Canterbury yesterday, the meeting unanimously agreed -to support tho request of tho New Zealand Committee to your corporation to improve Smithfield upon all heads; -trust speedy action.— Clothier, president North Canterbury I'armers' Union." 'Tort of London Authority, London. At a large and influential public meeting of producers held in Canterbury yesterday under tho auspices of the .N'orth Canterbury Farmers' Union, the meeting unanimously' adopted tho resolution already cabled to you by the Napier producers; trust Bjcedy action—Clothier, president North Canterbury Farmers' union."
