Tho Mangatainoka Athletic Society hare achieved substantial profit over their recent sports meeting. FEILDING. The Feilding fire brigade had a somewhat active time on Friday evening, when Mr. Hugo, Government Inspector of iiro Brigades, put the men through the most searching trial which thev have had yet. Mr. G. C. Wheeler, chairman of the Oroua County Council, arid president of the New Zealand Hereford Cattle Breeders' Association, is to take a voyage to tho Old Country on medical advice. . Mr. Wheeler will sail in April nest. It is stated that he will resign his seat, on tlio County Council.
