"The Times" St. Petersburg correspondent reports that Russia' requires Great Britain's assent to the German demands regarding the central and southern zones of Persia before signing an agreement with Germany. . The newspaper "Novoe Vremya"'accuses •German diplomacy of publishing an- untrue version of the negotiations, with a view to sowing mistrust among the membors of the Triple Entente (Great Britain, Russia, and-France).' BAGDAD RAILWAY TERMINUS. (Rec. January 12, 0.25 a.m.) , Berlin, January 11. The "Vossische Zeitnng" has modified its attack'of yesterday with , regard to tho Bagdad railway. It now says that the solution of the question lies in tho internationalisation 1 of the line,' and that Eng-' lish predominance' in Persia should be confined to the Gulf coasts. The Berlin "Post"' declares that the terminus of. the railway is essentially Turkish territory, and England must eettlo her claims, not with Germany, but with Russia and Turkey.'
