Deceased, who was created a baronet in 1901, was the first Mayor of Piiddington,' Commissioner of Lieutenancy City of London, Lieuten-ant-Colonel Engineer and Railway Staff Corps, and was Conservative 31.P. for North Paddington 1887-1905. Ho was decorated with the Grand Cordon of th« Medjidie. - ■ "
