SOUTH AFRICAN DISASTER. FIFTEEN LIVES LOST. Oj Telccraph—Press Association—Copyright Cape Town, January 5. A serious railway accident, attended by loss of life, Jias occurred'at Cathcart Station, Capo Colony, forty miles north-north-west of King William's Town. Through some cause not yet explained, a train carrying a largo number of holiday-makers toppled over an embankment. Fifteen persons were killed, and fifty were seriously injured. Many of tho injured were pinned under tho wreckage for four hours. The accident occurred at midnight.
