'A return of the export of gold and silver from N'ew Zealand for December last, with the .figures for December of the previous year in parentheses, are: Gold, Auckland, 20,091-oz., £50,24 l (24,.1790z., ',£95',099); Greymoutll, 4,1-1902., .£16,315 (fl.OOSoz., .£34,304); Dnncdin, 11,4G20z., ■JMG.7OO .(MGGoz., .£37,027); . Inrercargill, JSOloz., .£7,215 (2,5450z., -.£10.IS!); total, 37.500C7.., ',£150,501 tt5,2950z., .£177,064). The decrease in value was thus .526,563. Tho silver export for December was valued at ,£10,703, an increase of ,£4060 over December of tho previous year. The export of gold for the year was •178.28507.., valued at ,£1.896,318, as against 50G,3710z. and ,£2,003,900 respectively for tho previous year. The silver export was 1,711,2330z. for Iho year just closed, ' as ae.iinst 1,813,5300z., valued at J:150,572 for 1909.
