■HOW THE LADY FARED. IBy Telegraph.—Special Correspondent.) Palmontrin, January 4. A peculiar but painful experience happened £o a joung lady on Christmas Day at JCairanga, near Palmerstou. Sh«; was riding alone; ono of the roads when a swarm, of bees, apparently in fighting mood,, alighted on her, and, before they were dislodged, she was very severely stung about the forehead and on tho back of the neck. Fortunately tho horse which she was rifling at the time was a quiet one, otherwiso more serious results might havo ensued. As it was, the bees loft their mark.
